    Default [Win 8] Make File Explorer open in Computer view from the taskbar

    Personally I don’t like File Explorer opening in “Libraries” from the taskbar.
    You can change this behaviour by right clicking on the File Explorer icon on the taskbar then you have to right click on “File Explorer” and select properties.

    Once you have opened properties you will see the target dialog box

    Replace the contents of target with

    Code:
    %windir%\explorer.exe ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}
    Click Apply and Ok.
    And File Explorer will open in “Computer” from the taskbar.

    Other options include

    Documents
    Code:
    %windir%\explorer.exe ::{450D8FBA-AD25-11D0-98A8-0800361B1103}
    Network
    Code:
    %windir%\explorer.exe ::{208D2C60-3AEA-1069-A2D7-08002B30309D}
