HD0: 1x Samsung SSD (OS: Windows Server 2012 R2)
HD1: 1x Western Digital 1TB Blue SATA3
HD2: 1x Western Digital 2TB Green SATA2
HD3: 1x Western Digital 4TB Blue SATA3
HD4: 1x Western Digital 4TB Blue SATA3
HD5: 1x Western Digital 4TB Blue SATA3
HD6: 1x Western Digital 1TB Black SATA2
That will give me plenty of power for serving files, media and test VMs.
I'll get some pictures posted as soon as I start getting the parts in.

Reason: Added new hard drives

I've just about finished, just waiting on the SSD as I wanted to do the hardware migration before I cloned the OS Drive to an SSD.
My other server is in an Antec case, so I went with them again. This Antec P100 is a very nice little case and a bargain at £54, I may have to get another so the servers match lol
I used one of these BeQuiet CPU coolers in a clients build, and was pleased with it both in performance and looks so I thought it would be perfect for this.
Here's a couple of pictures...

Since the case only came with one front case fan, and I have loads of drives I need to add a second, I obviously want them to match so I ordered a couple of these..
Depending on what they are like, I may have to put some in my main PC (in sig), and some of the Industrial ones on my Corsair H100i
At 18db the REDUX ones shift nearly 60CFM, so that should be plenty.

Just installed the Noctua REDUX 1200rpm fans, firstly, they look great. Secondly they are whisper quiet!
I will most definitely be getting more of these for my main PC, they are a bit spendy, but the specs are great.
Anyway, here's a quick picture...

I got round to trying to install AISuite, I say try because the OS is Server 2012 R2 so some things just will not install, but it works fine.
Here's a couple more pictures now I have a Noctua REDUX in the back too, and you can see the lovely Akasa PROSlim SATA cables in the first pic.

I'm just waiting on a delivery (see below), to build a second one of these, this one has a slightly different CPU, but everything else is the same.
I haven't decided on subsystem yet, probably a couple of 1TB Western Digital Black in RAID1.
I'll post some pictures once I have everything...
Back to the first build, I decided to use a M.2 SSD as I have already used the 6 SATA Ports, and didn't want to wait untill I had freed up a port to add an SSD.
I'm going for one of the Samsung 950's, 512GB will be plenty for Server 12 and a couple of VMs...
I have just added another Western Digital Blue 4TB drive to this server...
HD0: 1x Samsung SSD 850 Pro NVMe M.2 (OS: Windows Server 2012 R2)
HD1: 1x Western Digital 1TB Blue SATA3
HD2: 1x Western Digital 2TB Green SATA2
HD3: 1x Western Digital 4TB Blue SATA3
HD4: 1x Western Digital 4TB Blue SATA3
HD5: 1x Western Digital 4TB Blue SATA3
HD6: 1x Western Digital 1TB Black SATA3
And I'll have a Samsung 860 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD for the other server (see above post) next month at some point.

Just an update on the second server, I just ordered a Samsung 970 Pro 512GB M.2 NVMe for it, and I'm going to use an Angelbird WINGS PX1 PCI-E to M.2 adapter.
The first one has been doing really well, so it'll be nice to finally have this done, I've had to put it off so many times!
