It's only AC2400, but that's fine for what I need atm, plus I know there are Asus Mesh Wi-Fi kits and new Ethernet standards (2.5Gb and 5Gb/s) on their way so I wasn't going to spend silly money.
From what I have seen so far, it's a massive upgrade on what I had. I will post back once I have lived with it for a while.

As I expected, it has been excellent! It hasn't dropped my connection once.
When I was setting up I noticed two of the switch ports can be used to aggregate a connection, so I'm wondering if I'll be able to do this to my switch...probably not, but I'll give it a go at some point and post back.
Something to note, the standard Asus firmware doesn't have "Release prefix on exit" under IPv6 settings, so I am running the Merlin firmware.

Merlin's new firmware 380.68 is excellent! You can now add your own SSL Certificate for the webui and it's persistent through firmware updates.
